Exporting 3D Char

hello there guys, im new to this 3d chara stuff.. so im asking this...

i think about these points to make chara.. so please correct me if im wrong...

1.make model rig it with anims
2.export it using panda as x file
3. import it to game...

but im using max, and im wondering how to input alot of animation moves in 1 model...

When exporting the X file from Max, Panda Exporter allows you to specify frame ranges for each animation. So you can tell e.g. that frames 1-10 should be an animation called "walk", frames 10-20 would be an animation called "talk" etc. Try installing Panda and you'll see.
