Software and games / I have found a great program...
« on: March 25, 2005, 01:01:47 PM »
Hi again

CyberMotion 3d-designer I found it yesterday http://www.3d-designer.com
I really was amazed when reading its features and what it can do,u can use it for making powerful-looking 3d graphics,it has incredible rendering-engine,not complicated as I see,and it has a lot of features
u can also use it for modeling/animation/making films,Blender is sucks if u compare the both

it is only 129$ and Iam going to order it today

here is the product info:
CyberMotion 3D-Designer is an integrated 3D-graphics program for modeling, animating and rendering photorealistic 3D-scenes, terrains and characters. It features a multi-window graphical user interface, a vast number of 3D modeling tools, a landscape designer including complex atmospheres, TrueType-3D-fonts, spline-patches and boolean operations, hierarchical animation, inverse kinematics, skeletal deformation (skin and bones), global illumination rendering and a host of special effects, such as lens flares, caustics, volumetric fire, object halo, motion blur, depth-sharpeness, animated atmospheres with clouds, fog, rain and snow, starfields, particle systems, and area lights.

Version 10.0 features a completely rewritten animation system, hierarchy independent animation, character animation via skeletal deformation, expanded world dimensions, optimized rendering engines, rain and snow particles.

Note:go to the Gallery section and watch the 3d scenes rendered by the program 0: 0: 0:

« on: March 23, 2005, 08:32:31 PM »
sorry for my newbie questions, but Iam new to this engine and want to gain some info
what are the programs u use to make 3d pre-rendered backgrounds?for example the one seen in the wme_demo_3d project...I think no one mention this before!

don't tell me to use 3d studio max or Maya...,I have those complicated programs and I don't have time to learn them,I want something easy and good at the same time :)

thanks

Technical forum / 3d characters limits?
« on: March 23, 2005, 06:18:30 PM »
Hi

what is the maximum number of vertices and faces of the 3d model which WME engine can load?

I really need to know, because I want to make the characters in POSER and it generates characters with high number of vertices/faces so I may decrease the number of faces to the allowed range that the engine can preview

BTW,do u know where I can find a free site with good collection of free 3d characters with animations and with low number of polygons?

thanks

Technical forum / Re: about 3d support
« on: March 07, 2005, 11:23:40 PM »
thanks 4 the quick reply,it is so great that WME supports animations,Iam going to download it right now but another thing, did someone encounter bugs or problems when playing the animation in the engine?
anyway I have a various collection of 3d commercial programs like Max,Maya,Poser, softimage,Animation Master,Cinema4D..and others :D

so what is the 3d-program u know that has no problems/bugs when exporting the model/animation to WME? if someone has already test this please...;

thanks again

Technical forum / about 3d support
« on: March 07, 2005, 01:41:24 PM »
Hi
I knew about this engine from another gaming forum, its features are good for adventures games and especially the latest feature which enables u to load 3d models

but I have to know some things before I download it:

-can wme load the 3d models with animation or it just imports static 3d objects, this is important if u want to make characters and enemies,4 example if u click by mouse on the enemy the playe will play the shooting animation and the enemy will play the death animation...,
I have 3ds Max V5 & V6,Maya v5,Poser v5 and Milkshape too :D,and Iam planning to make an Adventure-Action game similar to silent hill series with puzzles and a storyline of course.

I don't want to make the characters as sprites,I want them as fully 3d models with animations of course,is this possible to do with the new version of WME?

-can I load avi movies between levels for the storyline?and is there a plugin supprt so I can load bink movies?

thanks alot for this unique adventure engine.
