Title: MACs WME Visual Dialogue Editor
Post by: Mac on January 13, 2008, 02:14:46 PM
Hi community,

SoundGuy's thread reminded me to the dialogue editor I wrote last summer, which I didn't finish completely. I found some time yesterday to finish it and of course you are invited to use it as well.

(http://mac-bs.de/bullsoft/download/wmevde_shot.jpg)

Features:
- Dialogue branches support to make show always/once/once per game work
- Remarks and codelines can be inserted
- Addable conditions to every responseline
- Optional automatic talking of the responselines after clicking
- Conditions for each respond line
- Character lists can be saved for using in different dialogue projects

Download:
http://mac-bs.de/bullsoft/download/WME_DialogueEditor.zip (http://mac-bs.de/bullsoft/download/WME_DialogueEditor.zip) (Version 1.0)

Have fun and ask here if there are problems. Also feel free to ask for usefull features.

Mac

PS: I'd like to try to make a video tutorial for this. Does anyone know a good and free app to record the mouse movements in the window as a video?

Camtasia is the best one i know... but yea it isn't free :( still it is prob the best screen video app you can get i think.

http://www.techsmith.com/

before it got that i used http://wisdom-soft.com/products/autoscreenrecorder_free.htm witch is free but the video files need  lot of touching up and stuff.. mainly in the area of encoding....

www.doom9.org  has all the info you will ever need to encode high quality avi files.... I recommend AAvidemux to help encode once u get the hang of it  http://fixounet.free.fr/avidemux/

@Jyujinkai:
Thank you. I'll try the Camtasia 30-days-trial. 30-days should be enough to make a tutorial.

@SoundGuy:
Could be problematic. I code all my apps with PureBASIC (http://www.purebasic.com).

Hi Guys, I know this post is really old, maybe you´re all dead by now. But I was wondering if Mac could upload his Dialogue Editor again. I´d love to try it out. I think it could save me a lot of time in my game.

Thanks!!
