Walk animation interruptions

When an actor is walking to a point, and the user clicks somewhere else, the walking animation starts over from frame 1. Is it possible to have the animation continue from whatever frame it was at before the click?

No, I don't think that's possible. 3D actors are able to ignore subsequent movement requests within a certain pixel tolerance, but that's about it.
