I'm not into scripting yet, but nevertheless i guess it's quite work to script in general, not to mention that you have to script for your specific needs. Time is an important resource, so i would suggest you try to do it on your own and then provide something for all other wme users.

I think it was planned originally (you can move with keyboard in the original test) but I think Mnemonic took it out because when you move the character there was no collision detection on the objects. I speak little english I hope that makes sense.

I never really planned direct keyboard conrol support in WME; the one in the original demo was there for development purposes only. The idea is to be able to implement it by scripting, similarly to Igorrr's script for 2D characters. Unfortunately the walking/blocked areas work quite differently for 3D characters and I will yet have to add a few new scripting methods to make something like that possible. I'll definitely keep that in mind for the next WME release, just give me some time.

As for automatic head-turning: this, on the other hand, IMHO should be a build-in feature in WME. My idea is, that you'd define "hotspots" in the 3D geometry, similarly to defining waypoints, and the character would automatically turn his head to the nearest 3D hotspot.
