remote control software ? is the any?

I have the tvtuner, pinnacle pctv pro which has a remote control (a great one, with 50 buttons). I am wondering if there is any programmable remote control software to use the remote control with any program I would like (basically for my audio, video & dvd software players). I have search the net but I can find any.

EDIT: I have found one here -> http://www.irassistant.com/dotcom/v_current/ but it seems that it hasn't been updated since 2001.... searching for something newer.... any help appriciated

It's in czech, but you may want to try the homepages of each program
(the "home" icons).

Nope, I don't have a TV card. I just happen to know the TV Freak site. Did you find anything useful?

3 of those programs looks interesting, but I haven't tested them yet.

EDIT: I found one very good program (*ONLY* for pinnacle's pctv remote control) at http://sourceforge.net/projects/pctv-remote
As usual with almost all the programs I suggest, it's opensource (GPL), but keep in mind that you should "program" it to work with new programs (so it's not for lazy people).
