Hey there!

First of all sorry, I've totally not saw your post here. Secondly, we are still working on the Project ( Multiple Character stuff is really complicated as I know now :), and making great steps forward. ( e.g. we reworked most of the interface, there are no verbs anymore, and we reworked some graphics and animations and stuf ).

Dude, I think I got the Solution for you.

Make sure that the resolution of the video is a multiple of 16. ( eg. if you need 120x120, make it 128x128 ( simply add some transparency )) . That personally solved all my troubles I had with theora entitys some time ago ;)

Simply use a fixed width Font for the texts ( like bitmap fonts or something like Courier. There are several fixed-width truetype fonts available ).

Exactly what anarchist said. Of course that only counts for browser-based application, not if you compile a stand alone package :)

More info. 2D or 3D? And show the actor definition file.

I doubt there will be much support for flash as today because of HTML5, even Adobe himself will focus on HTML5, so I don't thinks thats the right direction. Except you want to make a stand-alone software, that could work...If windows 10 will support that in 5 years ;)

Hey there.

First of all: Please don't hijack old threads for new questions ;)  ::hijack ::hijack

Second: No you cant. You have to create two different packages for two resolutions, which scenes in the specific resolution. WME is not able to Scale scenes up or down.

Main Problem with iOS is, that you cannot install ScummVM there "the official way" through the appstore. So it only works on jailbroken devices. SO if you plan to distribute your game through the App Store, you have to stick to WME Lite.
That's not true. If you are a registered iOS developer nothing is stopping you from compiling your game with SCUMMVM and uploading it to the App Store. I believe the iOS ports of Simon the Sorcerer and Flight of the Amazon Queen do just that.

Yeah thats true, but I had the precompiled scummVM in mind, like you can download from google play for android.

Thats not possible. It will always be created by the template. If you want an "empty" template, you have to edit the template path in WME DevKit directory. There you'll find all templates WME Uses.

WME Lite / Re: Additional Platforms?
« on: August 31, 2012, 03:11:37 PM »
Hey ;)

In the very near future, WME is part of ScummVM, so your game would run on every plattform that ScummVM supports ( which means virtually everything existing ;)

http://forum.dead-code.org/index.php?topic=5088.0

Because of this I don't think there are any plans to port WME Lite to more Platforms.

As for License Issues, this is not a problem I guess, since some platforms sell retro-games based on ScummVM and/or DosBox for example to make them run on newer OS Systems, Mac and Linux and so on.

As for the WME Source itself, I think Mnemonic will answer you ;)

Technical forum / Re: Curved scale line?
« on: August 26, 2012, 02:22:43 PM »
Hey there!

You can add as many lines as you want, using the two buttons on the left side ( see screenshot )

If you set two lines with the same value ( as in my example the two 120% lines), you have created a region where the scale of an actor is "fixed".

Hope this helps, same goes for vertical scaling lines too.
