Poll: Are you developing your game in 2D or in 2.5D?
« on: November 25, 2006, 02:14:22 PM »

In addition to the project type poll, I'd like to learn more about what's the approximate percentage of 2.5D games versus 2D games being developed with WME. It's important for deciding the future expansion plans. Again, it's possible to vote for both options, for those of you working on multiple games.

Thanks for your help.

Wow, already 10 projects using 2.5d? Do you all have your own modellers in your teams or do you use pre-build models?

I am using only 2d because I am not a modeller...

Is there 3d models that are already done that I can use?

Cause if so that would be great.

There are many models for various popular first person shooters made by hobbyists, but their licensing differs. There are also some commercial offerings for pre-made low-poly models.

You'd need to find some program which supports both formats. I believe fragMOTION is one of such programs.
