Placing NPC into out of the walkable area
« on: May 25, 2008, 05:42:27 PM »

I use "Find path using 2D elements only" and I need to place a bird on a branch. But it placed at the edge of the walkable area (on the ground). How can I do this using LoadActor3D() method? Or should I create 2D-entity?

3D characters should always stand within the walk plane. Can't you simply make the plane bigger and limit the accessible area using blocked regions?

Hm... I tried to do this, but it seems like walk plane from 3ds-file has effect yet. And actor "bird" don't want to leave it :(
