I don't know where, to start  ;D
I'm 20, from croatia and study graphic (although not design)
I've just started to even look for an engine to do my adventure, yeah I'm one of those people that don't have the slightest idea from where to start and have really minimal knowledge of programing (some Flash, Html, nothing worth mentioning and 3d work is mostly connected to designing UT levels :P) but have, what they think, are great ideas
I'm willing to learn but get annoyed when things are explained but not actually shown in practical use (which is a bad way to view things but I always learned that way...)

okay, too much writing, I hope to be a frequent visitor here

So..
Age: 20ish
From: Finland
Occupation: Radiator manufacturer (yup, thats right. Not probably the most common job around here..  ;))
Favourites: Full Throttle, Gabriel Knight3, Indys and Monkey Islands in general.

I've been checking out WME for some time now, but since I'm able to do nothing, maybe I can contribute some of my twisted ideas at least.

Greets to everyone!

I'm older than I wish to say and I live in Idaho in the US. I'm a Network Administrator and Applications programmer currently working for a mid-sized manufacturing company. I write fiction and fantasy short stories, play guitar and compose electronic music (not very good at it yet). I also enjoy sport touring on my BMW R1100RS whenever I get the chance. ;)

I started adventure ganming with the Zork series back in the '80's and continued on through most of the Sierra games, Kings Quest, Space Quest, etc (too many to remember).

I've been wanting to write some interactive fiction stories for some time based on my textual works. I've played around with Inform: http://www.inform-fiction.org/ and TADS: http://www.tads.org/ but wanted to do more with sound and graphics. Then I found the Wintermute Engine and I believe there is still a market for this style of game, (especially with the "experimental 3D" enhancements to WME). Even with all the "high-tech" FPS and RPGs out there gamers still enjoy a good story line and solving puzzles.

Man, am I gonna have fun with this! :)

I'm from Sydney Australia and currently working on a title being developed in the Wintermute engine, I don't want to reveal anything as of yet but i will say that you should pay close attention in the comings months for a title by the name of ATTICA (will be the name till something better comes along.)

MY ALL TIME FAV ADVENTURE GAMES ARE:
1. Monkey Island series (yes including 4).
2. Kings Quest series.
3. Runaway: A Road Adventure.

Hello@all... First post, so let me introduce myself:

*I'm 25 years of age
*born, raised and living in Germany
*earning my bucks as a web developer
*My favourite games... besides the well known classics the most of us love there were some others like "Soul Crystal", the "Myst" series and so on...

Besides that, my mind is currently on a "Please wait, proceeding"-state, as I line out the story & characters for my first little WME-game (that'll hopefully leave the planning section and proceed to production somedays...  ;D )

See ya...

Hello everyone,

Name: David McDermott
Age: 29
I'm from Ireland but i'm currently living in Kobe (Japan)
Occupation: Im currently doing various part-time work to feed myself.
Previous games  experience at Rare Ltd U.K. and Pandemic studios Australia as an animation/art drone.

I've packed in the games work and I'm following the impossible dream of learning japanese and making
my own independent adventure game. In april I start a masters course in CGI design here in Kobe.  Some
how managed to convince the professors to allow me to produce an adventure game as my research subject.
The only problem is now I have to come up with the goods!

wish me luck.......

Nearly forgot, favourite adventure games:
Monkey island 1 and 2 blew me away and started me scribbling away in Deluxe paint. Also Syberia and Samarost.

Hello to everyone!

My name is Jeff Linam
I live in the Republic of San Francisco  ;)
I'm 38 yrs old, and I gotta say that just typing that makes me feel OLD
I work as a QA engineer for a software developer, but my college background is in film.

Favorite games are the Gabriel Knight series, the Broken Sword Series, and "Shadow of the Comet". Ok, I know that's really 8 games, what can I say?

I've lurked around this forum for about a year or so now, but I'm just now starting work on my first game using WME, which I'll be working on solo in my spare time. I'm hoping to be more active in this forum now that I'm actively working on a WME project.
