Hello dear WME developer :)
I was wondering if you could split the download into two different downloads:
* Download engine
* Download demo game
I think it would be great, ecspecially if it's the demo game taking all that space...
And maybe a chance at downloading the manual as well, seperately :)

OK, I'll do it. And I'll put the docs separately ASAP.

Done! 8)

Thanks ;D

Online documentation would be nice, too.
I'm not sure yet if I want to use this or AGS (which definitely has documentation), and am not looking forward to downloading it FIRST to find out if I want to even play with it.

Well, the docs are 4MB big, IMHO that's not *that* much to download. And the CHM format gives you much better comfort than an on-line documentation.
-
But CHM is compiled html, that shouldn't be too hard to convert into regular html, then all you have to do is to put it up :-)

True, but I'd have to make some kind of contents file/frame, CHM handles the contents differently. Anyway, I'll be working on the docs in the near future (I must fill up the empty spaces :)) so maybe I'll make an online version then...
-
If not, maybe one of the board contributors will make an online version (wink, wink)

Well, if *someone* would be willing to do it, I'd gladly provide him with the docs sources :) But I'd better wait for an updated version of the documentation (that's what I'm working on right now, damn, I hate writing docs!)

I know what you mean. You sit there, know you have forty-some pages to go, and you really really feel like typing:
JUST FIGURE IT OUT FOR YOURSELF! PLAY AROUND, JUST CLICK SOMETHING AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS. REPEAT UNTIL YOU GET NAUSEOUS! GOD DAMNIT! LET ME GET ON WITH MY "1001 FEATURES" LIST!

LOL. Yeah, something like that ;D
