Maybe that was too much for the battery :). They took for granted that geeks are intelligent enough to know if that 3 was AM or PM I suppose... :P

well, they could have done a small circle part on it, where am and pm is displayed by an analogue clock with one pointer and only those two points. :)

My friends would get really annoyed with me over that watch. I'm the only one around here who seems to understand binary. The explanation on the face is frigging annoying though. Binary always reads from right to left from 2^0, 2^1, etc. *sighs* Nice idea though, read in the dark, AND perfect geek appeal except for the lapse of writing the value of each LED on the board.
