Hi, finally we can annunce the start of our first game: "Face Noir – The cat with the jade eyes".
I'm not so good in english so, for now, i will only tell that the game is in it's first stage of development, it will be a commercial game and leave the link to the site: http://www.facenoir.com/
Obviusly the game will be made with the fantastic Wintermute Engine :)

It looks really great. I would have a few humble changes to the English to offer but I don't want to be rude and they are so minor they almost take away from the atmosphere you're creating so I would say leave everything alone. : ) Looking forward to the release--I would like to advertise it at my website when it's released if it is OK with you.
The game looks interesting to me for many reasons, one is that I live not far from 77th and Park. : ) If you want any help at all with the English let me know. (Help is free.) : )
-
Looks promising! I love that bathroom render ::thumbup
-
Thanks! :)
@Catacomber thanks for the help offer, we would take it in consideration ;)
-
I sent you a pm. :)
-
Can offer help with the German language.
Game looks very nice.
-
Well i can help you with Russian translation if you need it
-
I would thanks Catacomber for the help with some error in English translation :)
The site is being translated in French, Deutsch and Spanish. I'm sorry but a Russian translation is not planned for now :(
But we will take it in consideration.

Heh... keep in mind that though Russian publishers sell games cheaper then in Europe, they sell quite a big amount of copies (as our country is quite big and usually the deal includes exUSSR countires). And if you have the game released in Russia the same day it is released in Europe or even earlier, you can get even more money (thats the case of "The Witcher" and adventures like "Nikopol" and "Tale of Hero")
-
Yes, i mean only Russian translation for the web site ;)
I hope we will sell the game in every country :P ;D
But is a bit too early for speaking oh that now :)
-
We added 3 more screenshot and an artwork to the gallery, the development continue ;)
We also made a little restiling to the site, you can now see the new logo of "Face Noir" :)

Nice rainy video is out there. Greatly immerses in tranquil mood.
Good work with video and sound fx. ::thumbup

Thanks :)
-
Time to an update :)
We create a new website for the game ( http://www.madorange.it/games/facenoir/index.php?lang=en ) with more info on it, some new images and a teaser trailer.
There is also a gameplay trailer showing some of the feature of the game like the 3D inventory and some objects interaction :P

Everything looks great.
I also noticed (from your blog) that you have developed new versions of your character viewer & in-game particles editor. ;)
-
Looks like alot of quality, I'm amazed :) If the Story and Gameplay is just as great then you got one of the best WME titles and a great adventure in itself at your hands there :)
I'm looking forward to try a demo.
-
Thanks a lot, we hope to be able to sell the game soon, it should be completed for the new year :P

Yes, we needed some more options. Sorry if the post it's still not translated. We focused to a publisher's demo so we where a bit busy ;)

Graphics look amazing!
-
Look very professional. Seems that you know how to handle der Wintermute engine. And a nice example for what is possible with the engine. Have you extended the engine with own pug-ins? Or is that all standard wintermute?
-
Thanks, it's all standard WME :)
-
Which tools do you use for creating the graphics (backgrounds & characters)? (3dsmax, blender, etc?)
And which 2d graphics tools do you use?
BTW: The atmosphere in the gameplay video look great.
-
3D graphics are made with 3D Studio Max, for 2D some is hand draw and after edited with Photoshop.
-
Really nice looking work you have there, love the environments.
Dave.

Azrael the game looks excellent. The video promises interesting types of puzzles. The atmosphere is what the title promises, with nice little details that enhance the noir look.
Can't wait to see if the game feels excellent too. ::thumbup
