Hi,

I'm 25.
From Czechia.
I'm PhD. student of theory of composition. Working as a musician, programmer and network administrator.
and also can't decide about the trinity. Maybe Anachronox (if you excuse the RPG part) for it's probably my no. 1 of all games, Death Gate and Blue Ice.

Independent top 3 would be:

Dark Fall
Dark Fall 2
Uplink

Hey the A1200 is not old! Hmmph. If that is how people feel about the A1200 I can understand the odd looks the other day when I was looking into buying an old Atari ST.

Hi,

my name is Marcus, I am 27 right now, but time's tickin' ...
I am from Duisburg, Germany and my occupation is something I forgot what it's called in english, I think something like 'process lead electrician' or so.

My beloved three are:
Sam & Max
Grim Fandango
Discworld 2 (simply because I'm a Terry Pratchett fan)

See ya

Hi guys!
Thought I should introduce myself  8)

My name is Kevin Brown. I am 28yrs old from Kent in the UK and work as an I.T. Technician for a Bank.

Its hard to list my favourite three adventures... and definitely cant put them in any kind of order... so my favourites are:

Monkey Island 1,2 and 3. (Didnt like EMI - just cant get my head around 3D Adventures... also why I dont like Grim Fandango)
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Indiana Jones and the Fate Of Atlantis
Leisure Suit Larry 1,2,3 and 5. (My favourite is actually number 3)
Hero Quest 1 & 2 (The original text-parser version)
Space Quest - the whole series.
Day Of The Tentacle
Sam & Max Hit The Road
The Dig
Rex Nebular and the Cosmic Gender Bender (little known Microprose title...)
Operation Stealth (Delphine Software)
Cruise For A Corpse
Police Quest 1 & 2 (original versions)

lmao... actually theres probably more - but I think you get the idea where I am coming from.  ;D

Oh... and I am working on a game called "Marooned". Originally using the Visionaire engine... but have been tempted by the delights of WME...

Hi all,

I'm Michael from Germany, close to cologne. My age???  38 yrs old and I think I'm the oldest here so far  ;D.
So please show some respect to the older ones.
Since I'm 17 computers are my hobby. Does anyone  know the first Sinclair X81? Well, I didn't own it,
but went every day to a dealer who had it on display and was coding inside the store.  :D
I owned C64, CPC 464, Amiga 1000, Amiga 500, Atari 1024STF and now several PCs. And since the Mini MAC is
out I'm sure someday a MAC will be on the list too!
Since 21 years I code. Some small and never published games but nothing big. More tools and extensions in the form
of DLLs and libs were born and hit the public. Because of this I used and still use several languages or how I call
them "tools". For me a language is just a tool and I use the one that fits the job the most.
My tools I use right now:

- IBASIC PRO
- Visual C++ 6.0
- Delphi 6
- Blitz3D and BlitzMAX
- and now WME  ;D

I have several over ones like DBP and 3DGS but don't use them now.

Graphical wise I do a little more lately and try to become better in modeling and drawing. I use these tools:

- Photoshop 6
- ZBrush 2
- Truespace 6.6
- Ultimate Unwrap
- Poser 4

My team discovered WME just recently and we are looking forward to develop a full game with WME.

My daily job is progamming tools and statistics for an utility company. Also maintaining and customizing our billing
system. We use standard software from SAP. I'm sure some heard of it.

Ahh before I forget. My favorite adventure games:

- Discworld
- Police quest
- Monkey Island

I think that is enough for now.

Cheers
Michael

Im studying on Gotland in Sweden
And yes I think its good, you can choose between graphics and programing. You will also learn math and you will learn some productions and planning and general gamedesign as well wich is nice.
The first semester might seem a little boring but then it realy gets down to business.
