Only .avi video & .ogg sound files?

Hi again!

Can i use to my game for example:
*.mpg video files? ???
*.mp3 sound files? ???

for video use ogg/theora (with latest version it's pretty much usable thanks to new libraries
which allows you to use 720x576 FMV in full framerate).

for sound use ogg. Mp3 is licensed format, which means you'd have to pay for the usage. Not only that,
but also ogg provides much better sound quality than your basic mp3 thanks to better usage of the compression.

ok for sound!

but, i want to make a video with display aspect ratio at 19:9, can i?

also, which codec can i use for my video (video & audio settings) to run in WME program?

WME has built in theora support so no need for external codecs. I suggest reading this:
