Best way i found with Poser was to:
create a character in Poser, Poser 5 is about the limit, plus they only use one texture map, do your animation and save as a poser PZ3
open it in DAZ and export as a DAE
You need the ColladaMax importer for studiomax as the default Autodesk DAE wont work
I've never tried a Poser model in Wintermute I would of thought the poly count was to big but Poser stuff has worked in the 3D engine i use, Daz stuff tends to get screwed up, Poser 6 will work but you have to map them to a single texture, also lip animation doesn't export
I'll give Wintermute a try though and see if i can expand on this
