Savegames folder
« on: July 07, 2003, 10:37:34 AM »

I notice that the "Fred prealpha version" stores it's savegames in the game's dir while my project's savegames are stores in my profile's dir (I am using win2000). I might be blind but I can't find a way to do something like that for my project too. ?!?!?

Oh...  and if someone creates a game that has different profiles (selectable while in-game), is there a way to specify different folder's for each profile in the game's dir?

There is a "Personal savegames" property in ProjectMan. If you set it to true, WME uses the Windows user's My Documents folder to store the savegames. Otherwise the "save" subfolder is used instead.

EDIT: And there's currently no way of overriding the save folder.

Wow, so that's de purpose of the "personal savegames"? I didn't knew... I thought it was for customizing the saving routine or something like that, that's why I deactivated it  ;D
