Different icon for selected inventory items
« on: October 05, 2007, 06:16:13 PM »

Is there a way to have a different graphic for an item, after you have selected it? It seems you can easily change the cursor in different situations, but I am wondering if there would be any way to change the actual item. So lets say you have a rock that fills up your square box in your inventory, but you want the rock to be smaller after you have selected it for applying it to the scene somewhere....doable?  ;D

Doc -

I think what you want to do is specify the icon(s) to be used when the item is selected in the inventory item definition file in the CUSRSOR = and CURSOR_HOVER = attributes.

Hope this helps

Ha. Thanks...actually I just wanted to change the icon property, but what you said pretty much steered me in that direction. I read that documentation and thought it meant something else entirely.

I get the answers to these questions and realize they are pretty stupid in retrospect.  ;)
