Title: sugestion: rss feeds for other languages besides english

Hi,

I'm not trying to start a flame war here, but I'm becoming annoyed of having a lot of rss feeds posts that aren't in english, so completely useless for me.

I liked the idea of keeping several subforums specific for a language: why not do the same for rss feeds?

Just a thought.

The forum allows you to subscribe to individual forum sections, using the board number. For example the following URL only returns posts from the technical forum:

http://forum.dead-code.org/index.php?action=.xml;type=rss;sa=recent;board=3

I don't think it's possible to subscribe to "all sections except some of them". Can't think of any solution except reorganizing the forum and making main language boards and all the other boards their subsections, which would probably become pretty messy. But maybe there's some SMF expert here...

No point of hacking sm. It's easier if i quit using the feed.

So it is possible after all, but you need to list the boards you're interested in. The following url returns recent posts for all english boards:

http://forum.dead-code.org/index.php?action=.xml;type=rss;sa=recent;boards=8,3,4,19,12,17,2,7,5,1,11
