Hi All!

I'd like to let you know about this new project I'm working on (with Mnemonic's permission ;D )

It's intended to be a WME runtime for the web, or in other words, a WME-clone

Please visit http://mmrdeveloper.wordpress.com/ to check the latest news.

Cheers!

Interesting project. I see that you made it using dojo. Here is the definitive multiplatform WME engine  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

That's pretty cool and might be useful in the future if this project advances as planned. Nice work :)

Yep Dojo simplifies AJAX stuff when retrieving files from the server and of course it's multi browser compatible :)

Hi All,

I’ve been quite busy during these days implementing WME native file formats so now TinyWME can read *.sprite, *.entity, *.scene and so on.

This way you can use the WME standard tools to create also a TinyWME game :)

I hope to reach the “beta” state soon, so you can test the application by yourself with your own custom code/graphics as you do in WME right now.

Stay tuned! --> http://mmrdeveloper.wordpress.com/

Hi All,

I've been working hard on this and now it's time for internal testing.

I'd like to request the assistance of anyone who wants to help.

At this point what I need is a small WME game made of 2-3 rooms with a simple logic running at 800x600

The only project I have for testing purposes right now is the WME demo project, but I want to test different scenarios.

If you want to help please send me a private message or post a link here with the project sources.

Thanks!!

In fact only 2D actors are in scope for the first release.

Maybe in the future 3D actors/scenes will be supported. Everything depends on the WebGL (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WebGL) development and its support by major web browsers  :)

Try to imagine TinyWME as WME Lite for the web  ::slug
