Looks fantastic guys!
Shame it's only a short 3 scene game as it seems like it would be an awesome full length game.

Thanks!  :)

I hope that by the end of this year we will have a demo.

The graphical style that we try is one that it both gloomy, dark but also with a touch of hope. We hope that it will suits better our story (which for the record has already a planed sequel).

The style of game (from the point of size & length of the game) that we try is something in the form of small doses of pure adventure experience instead of one large adventure game.
Something like that is both feasible for two people to complete in a timely manner and it's without any unnecessary stuff that will spoil the whole experience.

Another update.

The Official Site is up (it will be updated before the release of the game to included extra features)
The demo is updated to version 1.0.1 (check the included readme).
Also some new info about the game:
It will probably include speech  :) (a very large probability unless something goes very wrong!).

Really nice game. :)

I liked what I've played so far, but I'm finding myself stuck at (I think) the end.  I have the page's piece with the three numbers, but I can't figure out what to do with them (I think they have to do with the bricks, but I can't figure out how).

Any hints would be very appreciated, I'd love to see how it ends. :)

well, the numbers are related whith the bricks.
so try to think them like coordinates in a graph...
i hope i help enough...

That's what I thought as well when I saw this... I have tried visualizing the bricks as coordinates, (x, y) and (y, x), but I still can't figure it out. For example, for "83", there isn't a third brick on the eighth line

I'm still having problems visualizing it as well.  I tried looking at it like md5 did, and I can't figure it out.  What am I overlooking?

Hello everone,

It seems the brick puzzle is a difficult puzzle to solve in its final form.  :(

As md5 pointed out the numbers are indeed coordinates

1st part of each number is row of the brick counting from the bottom of wall
2nd part of each number is the column of the brick counting from left to right

If you still cannot figured it out check this link for this puzzle solution: http://www.escapefromthemansion.com/website/images/BricksSolution.png (http://www.escapefromthemansion.com/website/images/BricksSolution.png)

BEFORE YOU DO make sure to download an updated version of the game (http://www.escapefromthemansion.com/website/files.php) with an extended end cutscene!
(Backup the game folder including your saves just in case. There should not be any problems but better be safe especially if you have the 1st beta version)

Thanks for that (and thanks for the update too!)  I've now finished the game.  It was great!  I hope that it's not the end, as I'd love it if there's going to be more. :)

Happy new year, everyone!

Jennifer:
Thank you  :)
I am glad that you like it.

As for whether there will be a sequel I thought that the extended end cutscene answered that  ;)
Yes there is a sequel currently in production!
After all the mansion has so many secrets yet to reveal!

I will post more news about the sequel during the next couple of months.

And finally a big thank you to Mnemonic for the amazing Wintermute Engine!

During this month I will also post the Escape from the Mansion android port.
