Working with two actors
« on: January 17, 2009, 05:58:00 PM »

Hi!

I have a doubt. In my game, initially only you can play with Frank, but later on also you can play with Paula, in a way similar to the used one in Sam and Max (1995). My question is ... since I can work with two actors and two inventories?  Like do I start working with this?

A lot of thanks!!!

You can link a inventory to an actor, they are totaly seperated.. so you can just add an item to the actor inventory of your choice.

The WME Book Online:

http://res.dead-code.org/doku.php/wmebook:start

shows you how to work with 2 actors and 2 inventories.  The best thing is to work through the book from beginning to end as I did.  It's a very good way to learn the basics and more than the basics.

If you have a problem working through it, you can always ask here.

You can also start creating your own game as you work through it, so you have twice the satisfaction.  :  )

Any thing that you need help with as you try to make the game, just ask here.  I asked so many questions and people were so kind to help.  Sometimes you have to waid a little while for an answer but someone always answers, usually Mnemonic.  :  )
