Title: contrast, brightness & gama
Post by: odnorf on May 02, 2003, 12:11:32 AM
Well, call me paranoid but here I am again. It's 2.10 in the morning here and I am working on my adventure (that's the good thing when you don't have to wake up at 6-7-8 in the morning).

Many commercial games give the players the ability to adjust the brightness, the contrast and the gama. I find this really cool 'coz you don't need to adjust your monitor every time you start a different game.... So, it's obviously what I want to ask :) Do you think that something like that could be possible with WME?

DirectX has some means of controlling the gamma correction, but that's all I know about it at the moment, didn't study it yet.

After studying of capabilities of WME I decided, that plugin that changes gamma and etc. needed.

I think gamma control would be good, and since a lot of games offer this now, and have done for a few years, I think maybe a priority.
