East Side Story - A Carol Reed Mystery will be released on October 1, 2007. A playable demo is now available.

The game is the fourth in the Carol Reed Mystery series, and the first one to use the Wintermute engine.

Wow, you are REALLY fast, it's not too long ago that you started the development, is it?
I'm going to try out the demo as soon as I have some more time.

Yes, Nihil, I guess I am pretty fast. But I've worked all summer with the game. And it hasn't been an easy ride. I was moving from another AG engine, and WME had a much steeper learning curve. But it was worth it! WME is often referred to as an engine for 3rd person games, or "mainly" for 3rd person games, or something like that. But I've gone through all the AG engines I've ever heard of, and believe me, there is no other engine more suitable for 1st person games than WME. And boy, was it fast as soon as I got the grip on how to modify the templates.

Thanks, Mnemonic, for a damned near perfect engine.
