Title: Italian string.tab
Post by: Dionysius on April 23, 2010, 03:33:22 AM
In which encoding must be saved string.tab and what charset number should be set in .font file for Italian language? I have troubles with special characters.

I used CHARSET = 1 in font definition file and I have BOM set in string.tab file.
Worked fine for italian release.

exactly. For example UltraEdit has the option to save BOM to the file if you use UTF8. If you look at the file in HEX view, you'll find it actually begins with EF BB BF which are invisible but denote that you are dealing with UTF8 file.
