Its pretty simple. Larry returns to his past;D(not giving to much away).

Im still working on it, but working offshore doesnt give you to much freetime.

Its just some art and the music that remains but it suck ass to draw on a laptop.

A yes, the legal discussion. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fangame#Legal_issues not everybody likes fangames)  :D Its just moving fanart, I reason. If someone wants me to remove it, I will. After Broken Sword 2.5 was released I was inspired to share my small project with you guys. Nothing more, nothing less.

Game announcements / Larry - The Fangame - Added art
« on: October 12, 2008, 11:28:38 AM »
Well here's a teaser on what I have been working on.

So whats the plan you ask?
- Make small demo(one scenario) showcasing the power of wintermute, or maybe just a small demo.
- Episodes that are connected.
- Maybe some voiceacting.
- Simple but funny puzzels that make you go 'Ahhhh'.

and finally...
- Post it online and charge ONE MILLION DOLLARS for it;) no just kidding. Sharing it with the wintermute community.

And whats been done:
- Wintermute coding(like I said its just one scenario, maybe 10 puzzels and 5 npc).
- Text Conversation.
- Icons.

and the todo:
- The main art(not as bad as its sounds). Been trying different styles and the pure cartoon style don't look good. 3d would be easier but this is a Larry game. Cant decide how cartoony I want it. Right now its heading to pure cellshading with a border(vectorart), like the teaser.
- The music. This is the hard part. Will it be jazz? Or just ambient?

Software:
- Inkscape for vectorart
- Audacity for sound.
- Photoshop for the teaser montage.
- And wintermute.

Closing words:
Well like most of my projects this will never be completed, but who knows I might inspire someone else... Im not sure if this is even a legal project(any input from you guys)? Anyway its just for fun.

Feature requests, suggestions / Small suggestions to the SceneEditor.
« on: January 13, 2008, 01:38:42 PM »
Hello hello.

It´s always bad when your first post is in the request section;D. Been using this engine for 2 weeks now and its amazing. But working with the editors I have found things that I think might have been missed. Here goes nothing.

- When a entity is selected: Delete it by pressing DEL, not just by clicking the 'Remove node button'.

- When working with the entity region: A right click pop-up menu with 'Add point'. And if you do the same over an existing point it would show 'Remove point'.

- Right click on a entity node: 'Copy node' option. Maybe with Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V shortcuts.

- Maybe a bug or some clever design;). In 'Entity properties'. If you click on the browse button for sprite and then click cancel, you are prompted 'Do you want to remove the current sprite'. A button with a X next to the browse button is my suggestion.

- Double clicking on the size field in the layer box could bring up the 'Layer properties.'

This is my suggestions to make this project even better. Keep up the good work.
