Community bulletin board / Let's taq steam WME games
« on: August 05, 2014, 05:50:31 PM »
There are plenty of WME games available on steam which added a few months ago the feature to tag games with words so it's easier to search for them. For those tags to be visible and searchable to show results a lot of people must choose them. My suggestion is to tag wme games with "Wintermute Engine" so please help with that.

Games I'm 100% certain are WME:
Lost crown
Darkfall 3
Face Noir
A stroke of fate - operation valkyrie
Shadows on the vatican - act1
Reversion ep1 & ep2
Rhiannon: Curse of the Four Branches
J.U.L.I.A. Among the stars
Corrosion: Cold Winter Waiting [Enhanced Edition]
A Carol Reed Mystery: Bosch's Damnation
A Carol Reed Mystery: Shades of black

Please if you know of any other game let us know but only if you are certain. For example Hamlet is a wme game but in some platforms they used a different engine and since I don't have it I can't be sure what the steam version uses.

If you tag make sure you use "Wintermute Engine". Variations don't count as the same.

Feature requests, suggestions / Theora decoder - Feature update
« on: January 08, 2008, 02:14:29 PM »
WME is currently using theora alpha7 which is old since the latest one is beta2 (includes a whole new shiny decoder  ::rock). Do you think you can fight the API changes beast and update the decoder in wme?  >:D ::beer ;D

Feature requests, suggestions / Notepad++ editor for wme integrator
« on: September 24, 2007, 06:00:14 PM »

This is another opensource editor with all the necessary features anyone would need for script editing. Maybe, if it's easy, it could be supported by wme integrator.

Happy birthday LauriBoy. Two more years and you'll become LauriMan.  ;D
This is a year you'll remember for the rest of your life. You'll never be 16 again!
Maybe 17 or 18 or even 27 but never again 16.  ;)

Since we all know adventure games suck,  ;D  :o ;D :P >:D ;D we are now recruiting members to have some fun playing a deathmatch game in hl2:deathmatch from time to time and killing each other.

If your dream is to mass murder the author of wme this is your chance!

For informations, visit the official #wme irc channel at

EDIT: Stupid stupid stupid spellings.

What about multilanguage support? Do you plan to make this possible like it is with the wintermute website? You know there is at least one completed translation waiting ;)

EDIT: I have no idea if this was a read-only thread and we are not supposed to post anything. If this is the case feel free to delete my post.
EDIT2: Doh! It's 5 in the morning.

Happy birthday wme  ::thumbup ::beer

Thanks Mnemonic.

Three looooong years. Especially the second one  ;) Thanks the regulars at #wme for everything (especially for the second year ;)).

The title says it all so I'm going to be brief. I have translated the wme docs in greeks and you can get the package at
I haven't translated the plugin chapter since it contains terms I'm not familiar with. If you can translate those pages or help me to translate them I'll be thankfull.
I'll try to update the docs as soon as possible every time they get updated.
... going back to work... ::beer

(Rest of the post is exactly the same but in greeks ;))

An opensource character 3d modeling and animation tool which works on windows (among others) and can imprort/export to milkshape format.   ;D

I believe this is going to be a valuable to tool to everyone that wants to use 3d characters in wme  ;)
