free entity Width & height
« on: June 05, 2008, 06:44:28 AM »

Hey,

Is there a way to get a free entity's Width and Height ?
I want to change its scale, but keep it's center constant.

the Height property always returns 0 , and the width doesn't exist and returns 0.
Maybe there's a way to access that info from some sub-object , like the sprite ?

Oded

Unfortunately not. It's on my todo list, but not yet implemented.
However, if your only desire is to keep the center, simply move the sprite hotspot to its center. Then then entity scale won't matter.

ah. good workaround, although i wish i could define the hotpot to jpg's in the scene-editor instead of wrapping them up in a .sprite file that only is needed to define the hotspot.
