For 2D actors I *think* it should be possible to overcome this by using a sprite attachment (actor.AddAttachment() - which can be rendered below the actor) and use the attachment as particle source.

When an actor is walking to a point, and the user clicks somewhere else, the walking animation starts over from frame 1.  Is it possible to have the animation continue from whatever frame it was at before the click?

Is there a way to attach a particle emitter to an actor so that it draws behind the actor?
