Hi Dralt and welcome to forums. ¨
If you indeed seek for team, it would be nice if you include some background about yourself. It will add lots more
of credibility to your intentions and people will have easier decision to choose your help.
Hope you'll like it there and try to be more specific about your skills.
Good point!
Time to be honest...
The good news:
I develop software for a living. I have been doing so for the past 15 years or so.
I wrote programs in all sorts of languages: C/C++, C#, Java, PERL, sh, BASIC, PHP, JavaScript and a few others.
Some of the stuff I wrote runs flawlessly at many of the top US corporations.
I specialize in distributed systems and network programming.
I think programming is easy.
The bad news:
I have no prior experience developing games.
I have no prior experience with WME beyond working through the tutorials.
The twist:
I have been playing adventure games for a very long time and I am sad to see this great genre relegated to the shadows.
I have been thinking about developing an *online* adventure game for some time now.
Such a game would allow 1-4 adventure gamers to progress through an adventure collaboratively. I believe such a set-up would open the door to some very interesting gameplay opportunities.
I can develop the *online* part of the story very easily. Now I need to acquire some game development skills!
Does that help?
