[newbie]Little problem when importing bmps
« on: March 27, 2004, 05:58:03 AM »

Hello, good evening.

Problem: on SpriteEdit, when I import some bmp files, all of them are clipped about 10% on the left edge and the clipped part of the images are placed on the right edge.

Does anyone knows what may be causing this?

Thanks a lot and congrats for the great soft.

What videocard are you using?
You can try to download and install the latest divers, it *should* help. But if it doesn't, you can always disable 3D acceleration support (Tools->Settings-> uncheck "Use hardware acceleration").

Interesting... could you send me one of those bmp files? (or are those the bmps from wme demo?)

Nice, it seems to be a bug with 16bit bitmaps. For now I recommend to save the images as RGB (24 or 32 bit) BMPs or to use some other format (as you've already discovered yourself).
