your script should work but be sure you have to call Sleep() - first letter is upper case - function instead of sleep() because this function od not defined in Wintermute Engine.

Hello, I am learning to use WE and I have a question.
It is possible to pause the actions of a script for a definite amount of time?
I tryed to use the "sleep" function but it did not work, the script is not execute at all.

This is an example of what I need:

on "LookAt"
  actor.Direction = DI_DOWN;
  actor.Talk("It's wonderfull.");
  sleep(10);  ?????
  actor.Talk("I'll take it.");

Thanks for help

Hi wintermuties :)

What is your take on names for adventure games? How do you pick one? Are there any guidelines do you think would make your game more attractive, playable, amusing, ... ?

You can use the program Resource Hacker to change the text value in the exe file that displays on the title bar. I've done that for a few games I have made and it works perfectly. You can even change and add a logo in the settings menu, and more. It will export a new EXE file that you would use instead of the one created by Wintermute, and your game name on the title bar adn other settings will display anytime someone launches the game.

If you use Resource Hacker, you can change the values in the EXE to reflect your game name in the title bar. I've done it on a few games I made and it works perfectly.

Just to add one or two other people are taking notice.

We got a recommendation to one of the best free games of the week at PCGamer

there's still a bit of power in the old engine

this one is bothering me to, I cannot find a solution, I was hopeful that adjusting the caption would change this, but it's not the case
