After 10 months of silence in this thread, I thought it might be the right time for an update.
Funny coincidence. First time in months I'm browsing WME forums and this thread is on the front page.  ;D

And as you can guess, saturday morning and all, I'm having THE worst hangover ever...  :-\

Let's try a little different approach this time. ;)

The game is an adventure game mixed with rpg elements featuring vampires and cyberspace (and at least one vampire in cyberspace, if I remember correctly)

Hi guys. May i play with you? Ok thanks  :)

My question is:

Actually the rules state that the one who answers right asks the next question. But since I don't have any question ready, I guess we can "bend" the rules for this time.  ;D

What was the name of the main character in the adventure, which calls
Horke Leto?

A)Jan Nemoda  B)Bozena z Valstejna     C)Honza Majer

Just guessing, answer c)  ???

Zak McKraken and the Alien Mindbenders.

You have to clean the train station (or some part of it) with the alien who looks like a broom.  :)

Ok, a BIG hint: the game takes place in the Soviet Union.

Wild guess, KGB / Conspiracy?

He! He!... But as I said the Kyrandia interprenter is dead for a long time now and it has no files released :( But you can play the Kyrandia games fine on a recent windows version (all three runs fine on my windows2000 sp3 system).

Well actually I don't mind if I don't get the Kyrandia games working, Ultimas interrest me more. I still remember when I first got Ultima6.  I played it ALL the time, I slept like 4 hours a night, barely enough to keep me up the next 20 hours.  ;) Gosh I never finished the game, maybe I should start a maranthon right now (I'm on vacation right now)

Does anyone know of any other adventure/rpg interprenter?

No, but you can ease the pain by playing Nethack, Angband or Moria.  ;)

OMG interpreter for Ultima 6&7 and Kyrandia games, those will really slow down my game production!  ;)

Software and games / Re:VIM

Yeah vim is great. I've been using it for a long time and still I learn almost every day something new about it. The problem with opensource program is that they are very rarely "easy to use." You really have to read the docs to use most of the features, 'cause the usability is not very user firendly, atleast in vim. But I'm not complaining.  ;D

I think Mnemonic is going to release it "when it's done." So for now you should look at the demo games sources to find out how the functions work. You can always ask here about the ones you don't understand.  :)
