Im studying on Gotland in Sweden
And yes I think its good, you can choose between graphics and programing. You will also learn math and you will learn some productions and planning and general gamedesign as well wich is nice.
The first semester might seem a little boring but then it realy gets down to business.

Just an idea, when I read your story I realy felt that the niece was the dark haired woman that took the disc. This can be used as a red hearing and a good one if done correctly.

My favorite adventure games.
I like them all, even if the suck I like them. But I think my absolute favorite is Grim fandango.
