Wintermute runs native only on windows 98/2000/XP. It can also run on linux via winex (cedega). What OS are you looking for? You asked for PC so can I guess you are searching for a MAC engine?

No, I am on PC, but I was considering the Torque 2D engine because you can port your game to Mac. I did not know if Wintermute to be ported to Mac.

Thanks

Well, if you want your game to be cross platform then better stick to torque 2D engine. Unfortunately as I have already said wme only runs on windows.  :-\

EDIT: Just keep in mind that torque 2D is not an adventure specific engine so some things might be harder to implement than in wme (like inventory etc).

Darn shame DirectX isn't crossplatform...If it was, it would be a lot easier to make some sort of Mac compiler/interpreter.
