So I went out the other day and shot some brand new images that I made into seamless textures...they live on these pages on my site:

Speaking of which, please don't forget to check out my Ogg music packs. These packs enable you to bulk-download all of my music at once from various genres...hundreds of tracks. I even have a "mega pack" that contains all of my game music...over 1100 tracks.
Besides being a huge time-saver, the Ogg versions of my tracks loop really well in game engines...(Mp3 files sometimes need editing due to the Mp3 encoding process.) Plus, Ogg encoding sounds richer and fuller....almost as good as my original WAV recordings.

If you are using 3DS max, change type of all your cameras to "Target". It must solve the problem. However, from my experience, camera's FOV in 3D-editors won't match the final FOV in WME anyway. There will always be some divergence, and it will have to be taken into account empirically.

Hello,
my debigging console says that there is a syntax error in ACTOR definition. But I have absolutely no idea, in which of the files the error is. Of course it is in one of the actor-associated files, but which exactly? This problem causes more errors and leads to not spawning the actor (but in scene editor the actor shows normally). Could someone please help me? Thanks. |

PROBLEM SOLVED
I exported my actor as .fbx and imported it in Autodesk 3d Studio 2012 (same old as WME - still working with Panda Export). In 3DS I edited vertices wights (not all of them wee set correctly from Blender and it caused problems with animations and in-game appearance of the actor). Then I used Panda Export plug-in to export .x as described here:http://res.dead-code.org/doku.php/kbase:exporting_models_from_3ds_max It took me several attempts to successfully get my actor's .x, but finally it worked. |

Hello, I have a problem,
I can't export my .3ds scene geometry files correctly. I made all my scenes in Blender. Unfortunatelly, every time I try to export .3ds (even some siplyfied scenes - cubes instead of ojects), the camera doesn't work. Sometimes the actor is visible, but unable to move, sometimes he isn't even visible at all. Using Autodesk 3d Studio didn't work too. In this case Cameras were never exported. Does anyone have some experience with exporting .3ds and could please tell me step by step what should I do? Thanks for responses. |
