Going dynamical - Learn by code
« on: November 21, 2006, 02:14:07 AM »

Hi muties,

I decided to clean up and give you a little toy to play with. It's something we created together with Lukas a while ago and right now we give you the full WME project to study how it was done. I tried to comment it but if anything is not clear to you, simply ask in this thread.

What's the aim of this lesson? You'll see how to create a moving subway populated by 22 dynamic passengers.

  • Learn how to create entirely dynamic entities in your scene.
  • Learn how to set their sprites and move them according to Z position (behind or in front of other objects).
  • Learn how to create dynamic theora entities and play videos as a part of the screen.
  • Learn how to use array of objects to maintain easily infomation about passengers.

And maybe something more. :)

Hope this helps and I await your comments.

here's the link to the project:
