Hi all,a newbie question...

...it is possible to animate my actor with 3dsmax and convert the export file to ms3d...
I don't have milkshape so the prob is how to export animated ms3d file(other progs do the same work)

In theory, it would be possible if there was some MS3D export plugin for Max. But as far as I know there isn't any. You could use for example the Half-Life or Max Payne exporter to get your characters/animations from Max to Milkshape, but you'd still need to own the program to be able to save the result in MS3D format.

I recomend make your character in 3d studio max, with out the bones, export the character in 3ds, and then import the character on milkshape and use a bone of any premade character (for ej, of the wintermute example) and look some tutorials for assign bones and you have make a perfect character...
