Even higher resolutions

Specifically 1280x1024 and 1600x1200. Those aren't very common, but I can think of one commercial title that went all the way up. Sherlock Holmes: The Case of the Silver Earring.

Well, even though the homepage only mentions 1024x768, WME will run even in higher resolutions. The problem is the video memory usage is rapidly growing then and the players would need a decent videocard to get reasonable framerates.

Oh and 1280x1024 is actually wrong although it's being used as default my all (most?) monitor developers.. Try 1280x960 instead ;) (for 4:3 monitors)

I got that 1280 from my Gamestudio video modes. I think it used to be 1280x960 but they switched it to 1280x1024. Good to know, though.
