Fixed / Nested windows bug in scrolling scenes

Hi Mnemonic,

I've found out that nested windows are not correctly repositioned in the scrolling scenes. Parent gets displayed properly while the child windows get displaced.

Hi Mnemonic, I'd love to have the option to use theora masks not only as 0/1 but also as semitransparents. It would be perfect for certain things we're trying to achieve.

Is it possible?

Done / Window Editor - Nested windows problem

I have one feature request I'd like to ask for. In windows editor when using nested windows, it becomes unusable because even if you set the child window to invisible, you can't drag and move around parent components because only the focus is strict z-order regardless of visibility. So right now I use separate windows and then merge them manually into the big window file. It would be cool if when window is set as invisible (or some other property) that its controls won't get selected.

Can't reproduce / Possible bug in GetFiles

Hi there,

I want to get all files in the directory "gfx" whose filenames start with "particles_"

However the following code returns all files in the folder gfx.

For now I've workaround it through IndexOf, but could be nice to see what's wrong.

Hi muties,

I was wondering if (with so many new members aboard) will be anyone interested in reviving community events, mainly wme challenges.

We had 2 rounds with 1 competitor (each) so we have 2 finished projects. 3rd round (although summoned twice) never found a contributor. As many people joined since
and it looks like not everyone works on his AAA+ title with zillions of dollars budgets, maybe there's someone who would be again interested in such (modest) events.

Any feedback welcome, but mainly the poll will tell us more.  ::beer ::beer ::beer

Done / Actor position and rotation in Scene Edit

Hi Mnemonic,

me again. :) Would it be possible to display current actor position / rotation on the window rim (similary to MouseX and MouseY) while moving character over the Scene in Scene Edit?

My goal is that when I have a scene, my actor "walks in" from place A to place B and it's very easy to do this visually (to check rotation and position). Right now I create dummy entity, position actor to one place, click on the < button which fills the parameters then position to second place click on the < and finally use those values in the script. Having this as a label on the window would be much faster.

Done / Streaming animation post-caching

Hi Mnemonic,

I would like to ask you for one feature - we have a fairly large animation (cca. 16 MB) which is useable only as a streaming animation. Would it be possible to cache this animation as it's being loaded? So it would stream only while the first loop is being ran around and then it cycles seamlessly? I found out that at the beginning of each loop the framerate drops down and then it gets back again so I guess it's not cached.

Hi Mnemonic,

would it be possible to prevent opening twice the same scene in the scene editor and instead only give focus to already opened window? I sometimes accidentaly save the wrong window (when I've for some reason opened the scene in question twice).
