Well you know in the normal script, it has the circle for a light. With this new script, it is not displaying the circular flashlight look, only the squares.

Thanks Mnemonic, any idea of what I would need to do to the code to get started? I did something like when the mouse goes over one of the black tiles, the entity deletes, but it is not working :(

Sorry I know this post is really old, but I need some help. Im designing sort of a puzzle mini game and I have been using this script. Is there a way to make the flashlight stay transparent on the locations the mouse moves too? For example, if you start the game and move the mouse down, everywhere the mouse touches will stay lit and not go away. I was thinking maybe just making one big black image instead of tiling them, or maybe the tiled entities get deleted when the cursor moves over them. If anyone can help, let me know :)    Many thanks !!

Maybe you should make a game website and set up a company before getting started. Also posting screeshots of the art and design would help people decide if they would be interested. There seems like a lot of work to be done, so don't expect a lot of people to work for free, they the ones that do, not all would have full time to dedicate to the project. Take it from me, I am a developer of my own company and probably have the biggest WME project ever in the works now. You need to learn how to do things yourself, such as learn coding, music etc

Scripts, plugins, utilities, goodies / WME Physics project
« on: January 05, 2012, 06:26:54 AM »
Hello everyone,

I have been working on implementing physics in Wintermute and have came up with a small sample 3D project. Basically it is just a ball dropping. Choose the height to drop the ball. For extra effect, drop the ball while making the ball move by clicking on a spot on the plain, or using arrow keys. It is a very basic project, and not sure how physics in WME might be useful, but I really see a lot of potential in the Wintermute engine. By the way, this is NOT a plug-in, it is just plain code in the engine .

(Make sure to extract files before playing :P)

Maybe this would be done by changing scenes?
