Question about model formats
« on: December 03, 2005, 09:59:29 PM »

I'm interested in switching from GameStudio to Wintermute because the type of games I like to make are best made in the manner of Syberia, combining 3D characters with 2D maps.

I've become very comfortable using GameStudio's MED for modeling and animating, so my question is:  Is there any workaround to get a MD5 or MD7 model  (without bones)  into Wintermute and preserve the skin and the animation?

Thanks for any advice.

WME is using models with skeletal animations only, which means, unfortunately, you won't be able to use any models without bones in WME.
