MIDI files
« on: March 06, 2008, 01:13:50 AM »

Hello everyone. I'm just getting started with Wintermute, and I've been reading the manual, and for muy unexpected suprise, there seems that I cannot reproduce midi files, only ogg and wav. Is there a plugin I can use??

No. Why can't you convert them to OGG?

There are plenty of programs to convert a midi file to wav and then to ogg. Even Winamp can do this if you use in_midi as input and a wav plugin as output. But in every case there is one catch. Quality from such software midi players will not always be good.

EDIT: An even easier & free solution is Timidity++ which can convert midi files directly to ogg. For a windows build check here
