WME, it's games, and the apples
« on: July 18, 2010, 09:49:16 AM »

Hello there, I'm working on my final college project and I will make a simple point n click adventure game.
(More info here, http://multiversethegame.blogspot.com)

I was planing to compose the images I will make in flash (as I said it will be simple) since I know this program very well, but then I remembered about wintermute engine.

However I want to make sure of some things here.

Is there any MacOSX version of wintermute?

Can WME make MacOSX applications?

If not, is there any planing of mac support? Even if this is for the WME 2.

Thanks :)

WME 1.x is windows only and that won't change unless someone wants to do the job (wme 1.x is open source afterall). WME 2 is designed to be multiplatform and one of the goals is to support MacOS. This is not a promised feature so we'll all see what the future brings.

ok thanks a lot for the response, I just want to see what it can do, and what not, for now. I hope we will see a multiplatform engine, at least to be able to export apps for other platforms :)
