How about the crash logs?

Hey Jan,

we had several WME crashes while scene changes today but the crash log has been updated last time at the beginning of july as we latestely used WME 1.7
Don't they work anymore since 1.8beta? Actually we are using beta2

WME 1.8 should offer you to send a crash report upon crashes. As long as wme_report.dll is present in the game directory (and always when run from ProjectMan).

Okay, yeah, you mean that window which pops up some times? The last few crashes didn't activate it. Next problem is, that most of our workstations are only in intranet and not allowed to connect to the internet because of data security.

That window allows you to send the report by e-mail. Furthermore, all the crash reports are stored in "%AppData%\Wintermute Engine\CrashReports\", for example "C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Application Data\Wintermute Engine\CrashReports\".
Since WME 1.8 is Vista-friendly, it tries not to leave mess in the Program Files directory.
