Title: How to export 3D character to *.x ?
Post by: PlushDez on April 04, 2007, 05:36:38 AM
1. I m using 3Dmax 6 and Panda exporter for *.x files. Sometimes WME crashes when I trying to open model, some times model become weird in WME  - maybe I shoud try to use some other exporters?  ???
2. What about anim?

Quote
MODEL property is new to 3D characters. It should point to a Microsoft X model file (.x). There can be multiple MODEL lines in the actor definition file. This allows you to merge animations from multiple files. Note: some 3D packages don't allow you to name animation sets in X files, they export nameless animation sets only (Blender, for example). In that case the animation name defaults to the name of the X file.
WME Help

I dont understand, please write small example

Somebody, please answer me step-by-step, couse I'm very newb in characters creation\anim.
Thnx

Check this wiki article by adonf, it should help you to setup Panda correctly: http://wiki.dead-code.org/wakka.php?wakka=ExportingWithPanda
