Hi guys,
I'm still having this problem and it's screwing up the dev time.
Any help on it would be fantastic.
Pretty much when I import a 3D geo file into the scene editor it shows up but the position is wrong compared to my exported background png.
I haven't touched the camera so it should be the same. The thing is that it only happens with panning backgrounds (backgrounds that are bigger then the games res).
With normal backgrounds (ones that are the same as the games res) are imported they work fine.
Is there a way to fix this?

Sometimes helped me reload new 3ds. file in 3d settings in scene editor in spite of you have loaded old 3ds. file with same name.

I suppose that you uses WME 1.8.11. Older versions has a bug with geometries, this are misplaced when the parallax scroll is used.
You can check:
The Override camera FOV, if the .3ds file is builded with other tool that not is 3D Max (i.e: Cinema 4D), you must adjust the correct FOV of the camera with this option.
Check that the size of the background corresponding to the size of the main layer, if the values are distinct, the geometry can't adjust.

Hi guys,
Thanks for the replies :)
Sadly though none of those solutions worked.
The size is right in the scene editor.
I also tried re-importing and changing the FOV.
It only happens with big backgrounds that pan.
Anyone else?

HelLRaiseR pretty much summarized all the possible reasons I could think of.
