License for contests
« on: July 12, 2005, 08:20:59 AM »

Hi!

I'm not sure about how the WME license handles using it for contests since it's, most likely than not, going to end up being 100% non-profit, but there is always the tiny chance that, even working on 2D, you'll be the one to get the prize (which hasn't even been announced) so I guess it could be considered as being for profit or, at least, the chance of profit...? And what would happen if the prize is something that can't be broken up like a trophy or something like that?!

Contests are generally considered a non-commerical use. But of course, if you become filthy rich, you are encouraged to make a donation ;)
