Def file
« on: November 25, 2008, 11:15:43 PM »

What is a .def file and when would you use it as opposed to a simple window?  Can you make a new one patterned on the ones that already exist?  Is there another way to make one?

What are the ways to load (access) a .def file?

If this has already been answered and I missed it, would you please point me in the right direction?  Thanks.

.def files are used for inventory windows and dialogue response boxes. They can be edited in WindowEdit and they are assigned in ProjectMan (see the "inventory window" and "response window" fields in project settings).

Thank you.  : )  So to make a second inventory to hold "spells", I'll make just a plain old window.
